About the Role
Swiss Himmel GmbH is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support large‑scale finance transformation programs within wealth management banking. This role sits at the intersection of business, data, and technology, with a strong focus on modernizing legacy finance systems, enabling cloud‑based architectures, and improving end‑to‑end financial processes. As a senior Consultant in our Finance change team, you will support and lead workstreams across finance modernization programs, drawing primarily on strong finance process knowledge, digital enablement skills, and hands‑on delivery capability. This is a Change‑the‑Bank initiative, with strong exposure to global stakeholders across multiple regions and direct interaction with financial controller and regulators. Your work spans optimizing end‑to‑end finance processes, designing target operating models, building transformation business cases, supporting roadmap design, advising client on AI‑enabled digital capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in multidisciplinary teams that combine finance and accounting knowledge with process, data and technology capabilities—helping deliver practical solutions and measurable improvements.
- Co‑develop, prioritize and maintain Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) aligned to product and business strategy.
- Lead workshops with product owners, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to capture functional and non‑functional requirements.
- Translate high‑level business needs into detailed system‑level specifications for integrations and platform capabilities.
- Keep current with industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML space and apply external perspectives and insights to improve our offering.
- Mitigate impediments to the team’s goals, align across pods and with other crews where needed and act as your pod’s ambassadors towards internal stakeholders and clients.
- Prepare and facilitate user workshops, demos and support UAT & defect analysis.
- Support business‑as‑usual (BAU) and KTLO (Keep the Lights On) activities across finance and IT domains.
Required Skills & Experience
- Total 15+ years of IT experience with over 8+ years of Product Management experience working in agile environments with strong understanding of agile delivery frameworks and product management.
- Functional Expertise: Banking services covering Capital Markets, Retail & Corporate Banking (Lending, Liability products, Payments, Corporate Loans, Collateral Lending, Credit risks).
- Working Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (BASEL, IFRS, CCAR, CRR etc.).
- Banking Products: Good knowledge of products like T24, SAP, IntelliMatch, Gresham CTC.
- Technical Skills: PL/SQL, Python, Linux, Data Bricks, Microsoft Azure, Data pipeline.
- Migration Expertise: Extensive experience in legacy‑to‑cloud native migrations, defining target architecture and data flows across hybrid cloud ecosystems.
- Business Requirement Analysis & Project Management: Agile/Scrum, Jira, ServiceNow, ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management), testing tools – HP ALM.
- Good understanding of relational databases (Oracle/PostgreSQL).
- ETL tool: Informatica, Power BI.
- Experience working on reference & transaction data for large banking landscape covering multiple source systems and downstream reporting.
- Solid knowledge of financial data classification, data governance, data lineage standards.
- Analyze upstream and downstream system interactions, data pipelines and event triggers to ensure coherent end‑to‑end integration design.
