Senior Technical Data Analyst

**PURPOSE OF ROLE**: The Technical Data Analyst is an enabler of the data lifecycle within an enterprise environment. This analyst has ability to profile source data and complete the relevant mapping documentation to enable the data integration between source system (golden/trusted) and target Line of Business system (LOB). • *TECHNICAL SKILLS**: • *Essential** - Overall 5+ years of Technical Data Analysis experience within the financial sector. - Agile working approach essential. - Technical Data Analysis and Profiling experience essential. - Acquiring data from primary or secondary sources. - Developing and implementing data analysis, data collection systemsand other strategies. - Able to identify raw vs transformed data, transactional vs non-transactional etc. - Identify, analyse, and interpret trends and patterns in complex datasets. - SQL and familiarity with various databases - Hadoop, Teradata,Db2, MS SQL, Oracle, Netezza, DBeaver, Denodo. - Should have ability to decode/understand existing scripts written inSQL and write complex scripts based on downstream requirements. • *SOFT SKILLS** - Working with management to prioritize business and information needs. - Able to work independently. - Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - Excellent time management skills - Strong analytical, mathematical and creative-problem solving skills; - Ability to handle all situations professionally - Attention to detail and accuracy - Must be motivated and self-driven • *ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum required)**
