We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Technical Leader to join a leading Company located in the Portsmouth, NH or Concord, NH surrounding area.

This role is responsible for driving technical direction, managing design deliverables, supporting project managers, mentoring staff, and solving advanced engineering challenges. Where needed, this person may also perform Senior Project Manager duties.

The Senior Technical Leader will guide major design decisions, oversee calculations and technical documents, lead standards and template updates, manage QA/QC design review, coordinate teams and subconsultants, and support field and construction issues when technical expertise is needed. Travel is required.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead technical decision-making on large and complex projects.
• Review and oversee calculations, reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Guide design standards and templates.
• Manage and coordinate team members and subconsultants.
• Conduct QA/QC design reviews.
• Support PMs and SPMs on complex assignments.
• Mentor junior and mid-level staff.

Basic Hiring Criteria

• Bachelor of Science degree in engineering required.
• Master of Science degree in engineering or science preferred.
• Valid Professional Engineer license in the state where employed.
• Minimum fifteen years of experience with ten years in a related engineering or technically focused role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Preferred experience with Bluebeam, SewerCAD, WaterCAD, WaterGEMS, HydroCAD, and BioWin.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• 10 Hour OSHA Training Certificate.
