The Opportunity

As a member of PwC's Scaled Engineering Services practice, you will play a key role in delivering reliable, scalable, and cost-effective technology solutions that foster operational excellence and business agility. Our teams are committed to employing deep technical knowledge and a service-oriented mindset to support the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-grade IT systems and applications. In this position, you will spearhead and coordinate the execution of technology initiatives, ensuring disciplined project planning, proactive stakeholder communication, and consistent service delivery across cross-functional engineering teams.

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will lead the innovation charge within our Advisory practice, concentrating on software and product development. You will be at the forefront of creating solutions that meet engagement teams' needs and enhance business operations. In this senior role, you will leverage problem-solving skills and critical thinking to navigate complex challenges and foster meaningful relationships with engagement teams. Additionally, you will mentor junior team members, promoting a collaborative environment that encourages growth.

Your responsibilities will include working closely with engagement teams to understand their specific requirements and translating those into actionable product strategies. You will manage the entire product lifecycle, from inception to launch, ensuring that each product aligns with strategic objectives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software engineers and designers, to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business success, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment for skill expansion and impactful contributions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead software engineering initiatives within the product portfolio, aligning delivery with product strategy.
  • Negotiate scope, timelines, and resources, proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Analyze business requirements and enhance business process experiences, aligning solutions with strategic goals.
  • Drive cross-functional definition and prioritization of product features and requirements.
  • Guide the product lifecycle from end to end using established development methodologies.
  • Translate engagement team needs into actionable roadmaps and technical plans.
  • Conduct business requirements analysis to inform solution design and process improvements.
  • Contribute to scalable software solutions using programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
  • Manage project planning, including estimation, commitments, and timeline management.
  • Ensure engineering quality through code reviews, adherence to coding standards, and application frameworks.
  • Incorporate CI/CD practices to streamline development and deployment.
  • Support enterprise architecture, microservices integration, and issue resolution to sustain performance and scalability.

What You Must Have

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.

What Sets You Apart

  • Proficiency with project management tools, such as JIRA and Microsoft Project, for disciplined execution.
  • Financial and operational acumen, including budget management and resource planning.
  • Advanced proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, ideally with PMP and/or CSM certifications.
  • Experience in Acceptance Test Driven Development (ATDD) and CI/CD practices to enhance software quality and accelerate delivery.
  • Working knowledge of Java, Python, and C++ to effectively guide engineering discussions and design solutions.
  • Understanding of API management and microservices architecture to support scalable platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a salary range of $95,000 - $106,000, with actual compensation dependent on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. PwC also provides comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, and personal leave.
