The Team & The Role
Logitech’s Technology Office defines and implements the company’s technology innovation strategy. The group aims to bring state-of-the-art technologies and capabilities to Logitech’s R&D, and enable breakthrough innovation with internal business units and strategic partners.
The Technology Office is a team of world-class technologists with expertise in HCI, computer science, cognitive sciences, machine learning and artificial intelligence. The team is based at the EPFL Innovation Park in Lausanne, Switzerland, as well as Cork, Ireland, but collaborates with partners worldwide. We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to join our team, and lead technology exploration and new venture programs.
This position requires a proven track record in successfully delivering complex software and hardware solutions to production and market. You should have demonstrated the ability to develop product plans and manage cross-functional projects with external partners and internal business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills built on effective organization, strong communication, business acumen, technical background and experience in the front-end of innovation. You must be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment, enjoy a strong “Design Thinking” culture and be energised to push and challenge yourself and others in the team to remove project and operational barriers.

- Defining project plans in collaboration with design, engineering and business partners.
- Coordinate end-to-end technical programs across design, hardware and software engineering organisations .
- Driving day to day R&D activities internally and with outsourcing partners.
- Proactively managing technical risks, bottlenecks, and cross-functional dependencies to maintain project velocity.
- Acting as a central liaison between engineering, product management, and other stakeholders, distilling complex technical concepts into actionable plans.
- Ensure adherence to best engineering practices.
- Contributing to the setting the team’s technology exploration roadmap.
- Supporting project planning and management.
- Informing resource planning.
- Enhancing development processes and implementing tools to scale technical excellence.
Key Qualifications
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:
- Min. 8 years in R&D program management (Waterfall and Agile/SCRUM). PMP is a plus, but not required.
- Min. 5 years of working on Hardware and Software products, especially successful consumer solutions.
- Experience with mass production of consumer electronics.
- Solid grasp of software development best practices (SDLC) for embedded systems, client apps, and cloud.
- Familiar with AI/ML development.
- Ability to link product development, technology, and business goals.
- Natural leader who can lead cross-functional teams (engineering, business, design) and work well across different teams and locations.
- Keen interest in human-machine interactions.
- Pragmatic, innovative, curious, autonomous, organized and a good communicator.
- Ability to travel internationally on a regular basis.
Education
- A Master's degree (MSc) in a tech field like Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Machine Learning.
- Startup experience is a bonus!
