Senior Technical Project Manager

Role Overview

We're looking for a highly motivated Technical Project Manager to join the team! The Technical Project Manager leads complex software development initiatives from conception through delivery and ongoing optimization. This role combines deep technical understanding with advanced project management expertise to ensure successful delivery of digital marketing solutions, internal tools, and client applications. They serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, stakeholders, and clients while driving continuous improvement in development processes and methodologies

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Project Leadership

• Lead end-to-end project management for complex, multi-phase software development projects.
• Implement and optimize SCRUM/Agile methodologies across development teams and client projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for development workflows and cross-team productivity.
• Oversee risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and project timeline management.

Cross-Functional Team Coordination

• Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, UX/UI designers, and SEO specialists.
• Integrate UX/UI design workflows into development sprints and ensure seamless design-to-development handoffs.
• Manage SEO requirements integration throughout the development lifecycle for optimal search performance.
• Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder review meetings.

Client and Stakeholder Management

• Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the development lifecycle.
• Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and stakeholder review meetings across all disciplines.
• Ensure quality deliverables meet client requirements and agency standards across development, design, and SEO.

Resource and Budget Management

• Manage project portfolios using GitHub Projects, ensuring proper sprint planning and backlog management.
• Collaborate closely with Development Consultants/Dev Leads on technical architecture and resource planning.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and vendor relationships.
• Lead post-launch support planning and ongoing maintenance project cycles.

Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Mentor junior project managers and establish PM best practices across the organization.

Qualifications and experience::

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Business, or related field
• 5+ years of software development project management experience, preferably in agency environments
• Professional project management certification (PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent) preferred
• Proven track record managing complex web development projects from initiation to closure
• Experience with digital marketing technology projects and client-facing deliverables
• Strong background in Agile/Scrum methodologies with hands-on implementation experience
• Previous experience managing development teams working with modern web technologies

Skills And Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management frameworks
• Advanced proficiency with GitHub Projects, Jira, or similar project tracking tools
• Strong technical acumen to understand PHP/Laravel, JavaScript, and modern web development
• Cross-functional team leadership experience integrating UX/UI design and SEO workflows
• Understanding of design-to-development handoff processes and design system implementation
• Knowledge of SEO principles and how they integrate with technical development requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management and client communication capabilities
• Advanced problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex project challenges
• Leadership experience with cross-functional teams and matrix organizations
• Budget management and resource planning expertise across multiple disciplines
• Risk management and quality assurance planning abilities
• Strong presentation and documentation skills for executive-level reporting
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and deployment processes
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Cloudflare) for project planning
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization initiatives
