Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Technical Project Manager to lead complex technology initiatives. This is an on-site position where you will be instrumental in guiding cross-functional teams from project initiation through to successful completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with exceptional leadership and organizational skills. You will be responsible for defining project scope, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality technology solutions. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to achieving project objectives within defined constraints.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Manage project execution, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies.
• Effectively communicate project status, updates, and potential challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
• Ensure the quality and successful delivery of project outcomes.
• Manage vendor relationships and third-party contractors as required.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and identify lessons learned for future projects.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master's degree or PMP/PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with at least 4 years focused on technical projects.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex, large-scale technology projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and various development methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding on-site environment.
• Deep understanding of technical concepts relevant to the projects managed.
