About the role
Our client, a rapidly expanding technology solutions provider, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Technical Recruiter to join their talent acquisition team. This is a fully remote contract position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in Nigeria. You will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and securing top-tier technical talent across various disciplines, including software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. Your deep understanding of the tech landscape and exceptional recruitment skills will be key to our client's continued growth and success.
Responsibilities: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical roles, from sourcing and screening candidates to negotiating offers and closing hires. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive and active candidates using job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct outreach. Conduct thorough technical interviews and assessments to evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their team's needs, define job requirements, and create effective recruitment plans. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified technical candidates for current and future openings. Utilize Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) efficiently to manage candidate data and track recruitment progress. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market intelligence, and competitive compensation practices for technical roles. Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback. Develop and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including hiring managers and HR business partners. Contribute to employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing efforts. Mentor junior recruiters and share best practices for technical sourcing. Qualifications: Proven track record as a technical recruiter, with at least 5 years of experience, preferably within an agency or in-house tech environment. Deep understanding of various technology stacks, programming languages, and software development methodologies. Expertise in utilizing various recruitment tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and ATS. Excellent sourcing, interviewing, and negotiation skills. Strong understanding of the Nigerian tech talent market. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, remote work environment. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Experience in contract recruitment is a plus.
