About Our Client
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Technical Recruiter to join their bustling recruitment consultancy in Asaba, Delta, NG. This role is critical in identifying, engaging, and securing top-tier IT talent for our diverse portfolio of clients. You will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding coordination, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for both candidates and clients. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the technology landscape, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully placing hard-to-find IT professionals.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for a variety of IT roles, including software development, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and more.
- Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates through various channels (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, professional networks, referrals, etc.).
- Conduct in-depth candidate screenings and interviews, assessing technical skills, cultural fit, and career aspirations.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified IT talent for current and future hiring needs.
- Partner closely with hiring managers at client organizations to understand their technical requirements and organizational culture.
- Provide market insights and recruitment trends to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage candidate communication, feedback, and interview scheduling to ensure a positive candidate experience.
- Negotiate offers of employment, manage the pre-employment screening process, and facilitate onboarding.
- Track recruitment metrics and maintain accurate candidate data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to effectively recruit specialized IT professionals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and strategies.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with candidates and professional networks.
- Assist in employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
- Mentor junior recruiters and share best practices.
- Attend industry events and networking opportunities to expand reach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Technical Recruiter, preferably within a recruitment agency or consultancy.
- In-depth knowledge of various IT domains, technologies, and programming languages.
- Expertise in utilizing various recruitment tools and ATS platforms.
- Exceptional sourcing, interviewing, and assessment skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to build rapport and credibility with candidates and hiring managers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and possesses a strong sense of urgency.
- Understanding of employment laws and best practices in recruitment.
- Experience in a client-facing role is advantageous.
