Our client, a highly regarded recruitment consultancy, is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter with a specialization in IT and Engineering roles. This role offers a hybrid work model, combining the convenience of remote work with opportunities for in-office collaboration and client engagement in **Gombe, Gombe, NG**. You will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and securing top-tier talent for our diverse client base across the technology and engineering sectors. Key Responsibilities: Managing the full recruitment lifecycle for IT and Engineering positions, from initial client consultation to offer negotiation. Developing and executing creative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates using various channels (job boards, social media, professional networks, databases). Conducting thorough candidate screenings and in-depth technical interviews to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and providing market insights. Partnering with hiring managers to define job requirements, develop effective interview processes, and provide feedback. Managing candidate pipelines and ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Negotiating compensation packages and closing candidates. Staying abreast of industry trends, market intelligence, and emerging technologies in the IT and Engineering fields. Contributing to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes and best practices. Mentoring and guiding junior recruiters on the team. Attending industry events and networking opportunities to build professional connections. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS). The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in technical recruitment, with a proven track record of success in placing IT and Engineering professionals, is required. Strong knowledge of various technology stacks, programming languages, and engineering disciplines is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are paramount. Proficiency in using recruitment technologies, including ATS and sourcing tools, is necessary. The ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and build strong relationships with both clients and candidates is crucial.
