About the role
Our client, a leading recruitment consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technical Recruiter to join their team in **Lokoja, Kogi, NG**. You will be instrumental in identifying, attracting, and engaging top-tier technical talent for a diverse range of clients across various industries. Key Responsibilities: Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand their technical requirements and team dynamics. Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify passive and active candidates for hard-to-fill technical roles. Utilize a variety of sourcing tools and platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking events, and professional communities. Conduct thorough candidate screening, including technical assessments and behavioral interviews, to evaluate qualifications and cultural fit. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified technical candidates for current and future needs. Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding. Provide a superior candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, ensuring timely communication and feedback. Stay abreast of industry trends, market intelligence, and emerging technologies to advise clients and enhance recruitment strategies. Collaborate with other members of the recruitment team to share best practices and support team goals. Negotiate offers and facilitate the closing of candidates, ensuring a smooth transition. Contribute to employer branding initiatives to attract top talent. Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and client service. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in technical recruitment, preferably within a consultancy or agency environment. Proven success in sourcing and hiring for niche and in-demand technology roles (e.g., software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, cloud computing). Expertise in using various recruitment technologies and ATS platforms. Excellent understanding of technical concepts and the ability to effectively assess technical skills. Strong negotiation, influencing, and communication skills. Exceptional networking and relationship-building abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience working in a hybrid model, demonstrating flexibility and effectiveness in both remote and in-office settings. A proactive and results-oriented approach to talent acquisition.
