Our client, a highly reputable recruitment consultancy specializing in placing top talent within the technology and engineering sectors, is seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to join their dynamic team in Enugu, Enugu, NG . This is a pivotal role where you will leverage your extensive experience and network to identify, engage, and secure exceptional candidates for our clients' most challenging technical positions. You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from understanding client needs and developing effective sourcing strategies to conducting in-depth interviews, assessing technical skills, and facilitating the offer process. A deep understanding of various technology stacks, software development methodologies, engineering disciplines, and emerging tech trends is essential. You will utilize a wide range of sourcing tools and techniques, including advanced boolean searches, social media recruiting, professional networking, and direct outreach, to build robust talent pipelines. Building strong relationships with both hiring managers and candidates is crucial for success. You will act as a trusted advisor to your clients, providing market insights and strategic guidance on talent acquisition. This role demands exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, along with a keen ability to assess candidate fit beyond just technical qualifications. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, competitive environment. This hybrid position requires you to be in the office for key meetings and collaboration, with flexibility for remote work. You will play a key role in contributing to the growth and success of our consultancy.

Responsibilities: Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and engineering roles. Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to attract top talent. Conduct thorough candidate screening, technical assessments, and behavioral interviews. Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and clients. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing market insights and recruitment expertise. Negotiate offers and facilitate the closing of candidates. Maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical roles. Utilize various recruitment tools and technologies (ATS, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.). Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Collaborate with team members to share market intelligence and best practices. Achieve and exceed recruitment targets and KPIs. Contribute to the development and improvement of recruitment processes. Mentor junior recruiters and share knowledge. Represent the consultancy professionally at industry events. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of proven experience in technical recruiting, preferably within a consultancy environment. Deep understanding of technology roles, including software development, data science, cloud computing, and engineering disciplines. Proficiency with various sourcing techniques and recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems - ATS). Excellent interviewing and assessment skills. Strong negotiation and closing abilities. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills. Ability to thrive in a results-driven, fast-paced environment. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Experience working in a hybrid model. Familiarity with international recruitment practices is a plus.
