Role: Senior OEM Technical Success Manager

As the primary technical and strategic partner for n8n’s Embed and OEM customers, you will operate at the intersection of engineering, architecture, and business strategy. You will work closely with product teams, developers, and technical leadership at partner organizations to ensure n8n is successfully embedded, scaled, and maintained inside their applications.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Own technical relationships with OEM/Embed partners; serve as the primary post‑sales technical partner for onboarding, architecture design, product integration, scaling, and upgrades.
  • Guide implementation and architecture decisions, advising on best practices for embedding n8n, including:
    • API integration patterns
    • Backend hooks and event triggers
    • Authentication and access management
    • Workflow execution models
    • Multi‑tenant architecture considerations
    • System communication patterns between n8n and partner applications
  • Work directly with partner engineers to solve implementation challenges, debug integration issues, and ensure production‑ready deployments. Topics include:
    • APIs and webhooks
    • JavaScript and TypeScript workflow development
    • Infrastructure and scaling decisions
    • Upgrade strategies and version management
    • System architecture trade‑offs
  • Advise on product integration strategy, helping partners determine how n8n should be exposed inside their product (embedding approaches, UX considerations, automation capabilities, security and governance).
  • Support long‑term platform evolution: guide partners through upgrades, version changes, and architectural evolution to keep the embedded platform reliable as their product scales.
  • Navigate licensing and commercial models; act as a trusted advisor on OEM licensing structures, helping partners align product growth, usage patterns, and pricing.
  • Communicate business value and ROI, translating technical implementations into clear outcomes such as operational efficiency, product value, and revenue differentiation.
  • Run a structured partner operating cadence (architecture reviews, technical health checks, roadmap syncs, executive business reviews).
  • Represent partner needs internally, providing structured feedback to Product and Engineering to shape the roadmap for OEM capabilities.

Requirements

  • Strong technical foundation – comfortable working directly with engineers; experience with:
