Senior Technical Writer

Job Summary

As a Senior Technical Writer, you will prepare written content for a variety of media, ensuring complex technical information is communicated clearly and concisely.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Craft written content for diverse media, including advertisements, newsletters, articles, press releases, scripts, and website content.
• Create instruction manuals, how-to guides, journal articles, and other documents to facilitate the understanding of complex topics.
• Utilize PHD's communication channels to develop and distribute technical information.
• Adhere to the AP style guide and primary style guidelines while developing written content.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a technical writer.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous service in the U.S. Navy.

Pay Range

The pay range for this position is $25 - $40 per hour. This estimate considers various factors including business needs, market conditions, and candidate qualifications.
