About the role
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to support the creation and management of standard documentation for device and packaging operations. The role involves working closely with the IDAP Expansion Team to establish processes, procedures, and documentation standards, while ensuring compliance with global quality and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standard documents for device and packaging, engineering, and maintenance processes
- Support creation of procedures, training materials, and resource documentation
- Collaborate with IDAP Expansion Team to establish process documentation, standard work, and best practices
- Create and revise documents including standards, guidance documents, job aids, and equipment design/test packages
- Ensure compliance with global templates, programs, and regulatory requirements
- Review and manage document redlines, incorporate stakeholder feedback, and update references
- Submit documents for approval workflows and track progress through completion
- Provide onsite technical writing support and coordination
- Facilitate meetings by preparing agendas, capturing minutes, and tracking action items
- Manage collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams channels and SharePoint sites
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, medical device manufacturing, or packaging environments
- Experience with documentation management systems such as Veeva Vault and Kneat
- Familiarity with device assembly and packaging technologies
- Strong understanding of documentation standards and compliance requirements
