To strengthen our communications and documentation capabilities, we are seeking a Senior Technical Writer to join our team.

Role Overview

The Senior Technical Writer will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing technical documentation that supports both internal teams and external clients. This role requires exceptional writing skills, technical understanding, and the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible content.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high‑quality technical documentation, including user manuals, product guides, and process documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts to gather information and ensure accuracy.
• Standardize documentation practices and ensure consistency across all materials.
• Create content tailored for different audiences, from technical specialists to end‑users.
• Manage documentation projects from planning to delivery, meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Implement best practices for version control, content management, and document accessibility.
• Mentor junior writers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with industry trends and tools to continuously improve documentation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in software, engineering, or technology‑driven industries.
• Strong proficiency in authoring tools (MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, MS Office, or similar).
• Experience with content management systems and version control tools (Git, Confluence, etc.).
• Excellent command of English; proficiency in German is highly desirable.
• Ability to understand complex technical concepts and explain them clearly.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working in agile development environments is a plus.
