We are excited to announce upcoming opportunities for a Senior Technical Writer - Communications with specialized experience supporting the Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (DASW(CBRND)). This is a fantastic chance to contribute to crucial governmental communications efforts, especially relevant to senior leadership and international engagements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-impact strategic communications materials for ODASD(CBD), including briefings, talking points, and read-aheads for senior leadership meetings.
  • Draft and coordinate the CBDP International Annual Report while managing a cohesive NCB Strategy for international engagement.
  • Create engaging PowerPoint presentations for international travel and draft comprehensive international agreements (MOUs, MOAs, Project Agreements).
  • Prepare foreign disclosure requests with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Regularly update and maintain CBDP website content, managing SharePoint sites for enhanced collaboration on international efforts.
  • Produce up to 30 Congressional Reference Books annually and 40 quarterly updates for OASD(NCB/CB) Office reference books.
  • Develop impactful conference materials and create informational pamphlets and office displays.
  • Edit and format technical documents, ensuring all materials are professionally reviewed and polished.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 10+ years of related experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Must be a US citizen.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience within the Chemical and Biological Defense Program or with a related interagency equivalent.
  • Outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Proven track record of developing technical documents and communications for senior DoD leadership.
  • Adept at translating complex technical information into clear and concise language.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.

Compensation:

The projected compensation for this position ranges from USD $90,700.00 to USD $141,775.00 per year, depending on various factors including experience and qualifications.

Remote/hybrid status may vary based on Noblis and government requirements.
