Position is located in Elkridge, MD and will relocate to another site in the National Capital Region in Summer 2026.

Responsibilities

• Create and review ITD technical documents for grammar, syntax, clarity, and consistency.
• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain various technical documents, including software and systems/network engineering and user documentation.
• Write and edit documentation related to hardware and software requirements, installation, configuration, and end-user guides.
• Standardize documents by creating and implementing templates for various document types.
• Ensure compliance with agency publication standards and language consistency.
• Collaborate with authors to improve narrative organization and facilitate revisions.
• Maintain a detailed document library for easy storage, retrieval, updates, and reviews.
• Participate in special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of experience.
• Desired Certifications: DoD 8570 IAT Level II.
• Knowledge of technical research, writing, and editing principles.
• Proficiency in word-processing and desktop publishing software.
• Familiarity with organizational products, customer needs, documentation requirements, and user comprehension.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Location: On Customer Site.
