Our client is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Senior Telecoms Solutions Architect to lead the design and development of advanced telecommunications solutions. This critical role requires a deep understanding of network infrastructure, emerging technologies, and customer requirements to architect robust, scalable, and cost‑effective solutions. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's telecommunications offerings.

Responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end telecommunications solutions, encompassing network infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Collaborate with sales and product management teams to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Evaluate new technologies and industry trends (e.g., 5G, SDN, NFV, IoT, Cloud) to propose innovative solutions.
• Develop detailed architecture designs, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
• Conduct feasibility studies, performance analysis, and cost estimations for proposed solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering and deployment teams.
• Create and deliver compelling technical presentations to customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions comply with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify opportunities for service improvement and product enhancement based on market feedback and technical assessments.
• Manage multiple architectural projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with technology partners and vendors.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues during the pre‑sales and post‑sales phases.
• Document architectural decisions and maintain comprehensive solution documentation.
• Contribute to the development of technical sales collateral and proposals.
• Stay current with competitive landscapes and market positioning of telecom solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in telecommunications solution design, architecture, and engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, SIP, etc.), network architecture, and security principles.
• Proven experience with mobile network technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, 5G) and fixed‑line infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their application in telecom solutions.
• Strong understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience mentoring technical teams.
• Experience in developing proposals and responding to RFPs/RFIs is essential.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, CCIE, CISSP) are highly advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment.
