Senior Test Automation Engineer

Your role in the team

• You work in an agile project team and actively contribute your expertise in all phases of the testing process - from requirements analysis to continuous integration.
• Based on complex technical and professional requirements, you derive structured, comprehensible test cases and develop sustainable test concepts.
• You automate test cases using appropriate frameworks and tools, ensuring maintainable, scalable, and robust test automation solutions.
• The design and further development of test architectures are just as much part of your responsibilities as integrating automated tests into existing CI/CD pipelines.
• As a technical point of contact in the client project, you advise on test strategy, test automation, and quality assurance measures, and contribute your expertise to technically demanding projects.

Our expectations:

Qualifications

• You hold at least an ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level certificate.
• You confidently apply your excellent programming skills, e.g., in Java, Python, or C#, in automation projects.
• You are familiar with common testing tools and frameworks such as Robot Framework, Ranorex, UFT, or Tosca.
• In addition to your technical expertise, you impress with your teamwork skills, strong communication abilities, and a high level of sense of responsibility.
• You speak fluent German (at least European proficiency level C1).

Experience

• You bring curiosity and initial experience in the meaningful use of generative AI in software development as well as in testing.
• You have experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and are familiar with the relevant tools and processes.

Education

• You have a completed degree in Computer Science, a scientific discipline, or an equivalent qualification, as well as several years of practical experience in software testing and test automation.
