Senior Automation Test Engineer

This position is for a Senior Automation Test Engineer supporting a Federal Government client. The role is remote with occasional travel to the client site in Washington, DC. Candidates must currently live within a commutable distance of the office. Employment is W2 on ExpediteInfoTech's payroll and requires Permanent resident or U.S. citizenship. The selected candidate will undergo a Public Trust Clearance process.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and conduct test and evaluation procedures to ensure solution/service requirements are met.
• Develop, maintain, and upgrade automated test scripts and architectures for application products.
• Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing.
• Analyze test cases and provide regular progress reports.
• Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how for the support of user requirements of complex to highly complex solution/service applications.
• Direct and/or participate in all phases of risk management assessments and solution/service development with emphasis on analysis of user requirements, test design, and test tools selection.
• Develop and execute automated test strategies, including unit, integration, regression, performance, and security validation testing.
• Establish and execute testing strategies across the portfolio, including:
  • Automated test framework development (Selenium, Cypress, PyTest, JUnit)
  • Unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing
  • API testing (REST/GraphQL)
  • Performance, load, and scalability testing (JMeter, k6, etc.)
  • Data pipeline and analytics output validation
  • Security and compliance validation testing
  • Test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices
  • Defect tracking, root cause analysis, and remediation validation
• Provide ATO testing and validation support.
