(Senior) Test Engineer (m/w/d) - Elektronikfertigung / Prüftechnik

About

You will take on technical responsibility for test processes, test strategies, and quality assurance for complex electronic assemblies and systems. Additionally, you will technically coordinate the test engineering team – without disciplinary personnel responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Development & optimization of test programs and test strategies in complex product environments
• Setup, adaptation, and specification of test equipment and test setups (adapters, mechanical interfaces, etc.)
• Implementation and validation of recognized test procedures, considering measurement uncertainty and process capability
• Standardization and documentation of test and assembly instructions for technical precision and traceability
• Participation in new product introductions and process changes: technical feasibility, test infrastructure, risk assessment
• Integration of new technologies (e.g., automation, optical inspection, AI/ML) for efficiency improvement and quality enhancement
• Technical coordination/prioritization of projects (capacities, deadlines, technical dependencies) within the team and the organization

Requirements

• Completed technical degree, ideally in electrical engineering or comparable
• Several years of experience in test engineering, preferably in electronics manufacturing (EMS)
• Very good knowledge of LabVIEW; experience with Python, MATLAB, or comparable tools is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of metrology, measurement system analysis, analog & digital signal processing
• Analytical thinking, structured working method, and technical intuition
• Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration; leadership experience is optional
