As a UI/UX Designer (f/m/d), you will shape central touchpoints of our customer journey – from search to checkout. You will combine user-centered design with technical understanding and business acumen to create a digital experience.

Your workplace: You have the choice – either work fully remote within Germany (alternatively: Austria) or use our hybrid work model "[REDACTED]" with a fixed workplace in our Headquarter.

What You'll Do

In our UI/UX team, you will take on the design and further development of the [REDACTED] platforms with a focus on our booking process.

• UI & Interaction Design: Design of clearly structured, consistent user interfaces including interactions, states (Error, Loading, Empty States) and user flows (Search, Filter, Forms, Checkout)
• UX Optimization & Conversion: Further development of our web-based user experience with a focus on user guidance, conversion optimization, and reduction of drop-offs along the booking process
• Design System & Quality: Application and further development of our design system in compliance with CI guidelines, as well as conducting Design QA
• Prototyping & Testing: Creation of user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and clickable prototypes – including variants for A/B tests
• User Research & Analysis: Use of qualitative and quantitative insights for data-based validation of design decisions and identification of optimization potential
• Teamwork & Design Checks: Close and structured coordination with Product, UX Research, IT Development, Data, and other stakeholders

Your Skills

Together with your UI/UX team, you will further develop the customer journey of our web-based platform and ensure a user experience that excites and performs. You will keep a clear design roadmap in mind and pursue a long-term UX strategy.

• Several years of experience (min. 3 years) as a UI/UX or Product Designer
• Experience in designing booking, checkout, or funnel processes – ideally in the e-commerce, platform, or travel environment
• Understanding of user-centered design, interaction principles, and conversion optimization
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
• Very good command of design and prototyping tools such as Figma
• Experience in creating wireframes, high-fidelity designs, clickable prototypes, and UI variants for A/B tests
• Basic technical understanding (especially frontend) to conceptualize close to development and conduct well-founded design QA
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills to translate complex challenges into intuitive user experiences
• Fluent communication in German and English

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of tourism processes in a digital context (e.g., online booking logic, OTAs, role of tour operators)
