This role is pivotal in shaping intuitive and engaging user experiences across our diverse digital platforms. The ideal candidate is a passionate advocate for the user, possesses a keen eye for aesthetics, and excels at translating complex user needs into seamless, functional designs. You will be instrumental in the entire design lifecycle, from user research and journey mapping to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design. This is a remote‑first position, emphasizing asynchronous communication and collaboration through digital tools. You should be adept at articulating design decisions and justifying them with user data and industry best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct user interviews, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to gather insights and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define user requirements and ensure design consistency across all products.
• Create detailed wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel‑perfect mockups that effectively communicate design concepts.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive design system, ensuring scalability and brand consistency.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the continuous evolution of our design processes.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Articulate design decisions and justify them with user data and industry best practices.
• Proactively communicate ideas and contribute to a culture of design excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Psychology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful digital product designs.
• Expertise in user research methodologies, including usability testing, user interviews, and persona development.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar.
• Strong understanding of interaction design principles, information architecture, and visual design aesthetics.
• Experience designing for web and mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Familiarity with agile development processes and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale.
• Experience in creating and maintaining design systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead design initiatives and mentor other designers.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
• Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) is a plus.
