Technuf, LLC – a Maryland‑based SBA certified 8(a) small business – is dedicated to providing cutting‑edge technologies and expert professionals to meet our clients’ critical business needs. We are currently looking for a skilled UI/UX Developer to join our team in Maryland. Requirements

• Four (4) years of experience in designing and developing web applications, mobile applications, and responsive front‑end interfaces across various browsers.
• Four (4) years of experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, Node.js, JavaScript, and JQuery.
• Extensive experience with the latest frameworks in JavaScript, Angular, and CSS.
• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, REST, XML, and scripting languages.
• Proficient in creating wireframes and prototypes using current UI/UX tools.
• Candidates with 3+ years of experience working with the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) on applications featuring web‑based user interfaces are preferred.
• Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Design and create responsive web application user interfaces utilizing JavaScript/CSS/HTML5/JQuery.
• Develop wireframes or prototypes according to specifications and validate designs with user feedback.
• Build mobile‑friendly and cross‑browser compatible responsive front‑end interfaces using modern frameworks such as Bootstrap and Angular.
• Collaborate with the application team to ensure compliance with established UI/UX guidelines and standards.
• Convert concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that provide intuitive user experiences linked to performance metrics.
• Use various high and low‑fidelity design tools to deliver interface designs, prototypes, mockups, wireframes, user stories, and user journeys suitable for diverse devices and platforms.
• Make informed design and user experience decisions regarding essential and upcoming features that foster a cohesive user interface across all products.
• Employ a user‑centered design philosophy and swiftly test and refine design solutions, participating in usability testing.
• Collaborate with team members and departmental stakeholders including Business Analysis, UI Engineering, and Client Support.
• Clearly articulate design processes, ideas, and solutions to colleagues and clients.
