The Opportunity
An established recruitment business operating within the US healthcare market is seeking a senior, delivery‑focused recruiter to join their team. This role is ideal for an experienced recruiter with a background in executive search or search‑led contingent recruitment, who enjoys working on complex, senior‑level assignments and engaging passive candidates in highly competitive markets. The position offers strong long‑term progression, with the opportunity to play a key role in developing and leading a specialist delivery function.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment Delivery
- Deliver senior‑level US healthcare recruitment assignments
- Execute structured, research‑led search strategies
- Identify, engage, and qualify passive candidates via outbound methods (calling, email, messaging)
- Manage searches with limited and highly specialised candidate pools
- Maintain a high standard of candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
Recruitment Model
- Operate within a 180 recruitment model
- Delivery‑focused role with no business development or account management responsibilities
Progression & Leadership
- Initially operate as a hands‑on senior recruiter
- Progress into mentoring and supporting delivery consultants
- Contribute to the development of a pod‑based delivery structure as the team grows
Candidate Requirements
Experience
- 5+ years’ recruitment experience within US healthcare
- Background in executive search, retained search, or search‑led contingent recruitment
- Proven experience managing slow‑cycle, senior‑level searches
- Strong outbound recruitment capability (not reliant on job adverts or inbound applications)
Skills & Attributes
- Highly articulate, professional communicator
- Strong stakeholder and candidate management skills
- Excellent computer literacy and confidence using recruitment systems and sourcing tools
- Commercially aware and detail‑oriented
- Comfortable working US hours on a long‑term basis
- Able to work remotely, with flexibility to work from an office environment in future
