Senior UX/UI Designer (50-80%) in Solothurn

About

Responsibilities

• You will take creative responsibility for web projects - from corporate websites and landing pages to web applications and SaaS interfaces.
• You will manage your projects independently through the entire cycle: strategic alignment, persona development, mood boards, wireframing, prototyping in Figma, final design, support through content population and go-live.
• You will work with design systems (e.g. ShadCN) and design precisely tailored to the respective client - with a clear focus on accessibility.
• You will communicate directly with clients: clarify requirements, present drafts, gather feedback, provide status updates.
• You will consider animations, transitions, and micro-interactions from the beginning.
• You use AI tools daily and productively: for UX writing, ideation, quick prototypes, animation tests via Claude Code, Figma via MCP, attention heatmaps.
• You work closely with our developers and understand how your designs are technically implemented.
• You will assist with asset preparation, image editing, and creating visual proposal presentations in Figma Slides, as well as with email and marketing automation campaigns.

Profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
• You can show real projects in which you were significantly involved.
• Figma at a professional level: Design Systems, component libraries, prototyping.
• Experience with interactive design: animations, transitions, micro-interactions.
• Genuine affinity for AI. You use AI tools in your daily life, enjoy trying out new ones, and see them as amplifiers of your work.
• You work independently, proactively approach clients, and communicate clearly and reliably.
• You understand that good design always has a technical aspect.
• Accessibility awareness (WCAG standards) is a matter of course for you.
• German fluent in speaking and writing (C1/C2), English is a plus.
