About the Role
As a Senior UX/UI Designer with our client, you will play a vital role in crafting intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling user experiences for various interactive digital platforms and applications. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other designers to translate user needs and business requirements into elegant design solutions. Your expertise in user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and interaction design will be key to pushing the boundaries of digital design and delivering exceptional products.
Responsibilities
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and persona development to deeply understand user needs and behaviors.
- Create wireframes, user flows, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and user journeys.
- Develop high-fidelity visual designs, ensuring aesthetic consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web, mobile, and other digital applications, focusing on usability and accessibility.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into user-centered design solutions.
- Work closely with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and provide design support throughout the development lifecycle.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, A/B testing results, and analytics data.
- Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for the user throughout the product development process.
- Stay abreast of the latest UX/UI trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the digital design space.
- Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to foster their professional growth.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of design systems and style guides.
- Present design solutions clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Actively participate in design reviews and critique sessions, offering constructive feedback to peers.
- Contribute to the overall product strategy and vision from a user experience perspective.
- Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of professional experience in UX/UI design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful digital product design.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability best practices, and interaction design patterns.
- Experience with user research methodologies, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Familiarity with front-end development concepts (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how they impact design implementation.
- Excellent visual design skills, with a keen eye for typography, color, layout, and detail.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to think critically about complex design challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design rationale effectively.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
- Experience in designing for specific relevant industries (e.g., SaaS, mobile apps, e-commerce) is a plus.
