Our client, a prominent digital innovation agency located in Washington, D.C. , is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences for a range of digital products and platforms. This role is central to translating complex user needs and business requirements into elegant, user-centered designs.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for the entire design process, from user research and persona development to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
• Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design vision is realized effectively.
• You'll also contribute to the development of design systems and style guides, ensuring consistency across all digital touchpoints.

Requirements

• This position requires a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in designing for web and mobile applications, with a focus on usability, accessibility, and aesthetic appeal.
• Experience with user testing and iterating on designs based on feedback is essential.
• Proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and InVision is required.
• You should be adept at conducting user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary to articulate design rationale and advocate for user needs.

Preferred Experience

• The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of user psychology, interaction design principles, and current design trends.
• Experience in an agency environment or working on fast-paced, agile development teams is a plus.
