What You'll Be Doing

This role goes far beyond project delivery. You'll be trusted as a senior technical leader and client partner, with responsibilities including:

  • Leading and facilitating client meetings and long-term partnerships
  • Driving business development and supporting strategic growth
  • Conducting site assessments and technical evaluations
  • Preparing plans and construction documentation
  • Overseeing engineering modeling and design efforts
  • Utilizing and guiding teams in CAD and GIS workflows
  • Managing and mentoring junior engineers and technical staff
  • Expanding and strengthening water resources service lines

Technical Focus Areas

You'll work across a diverse and impactful set of water resources challenges, including:

  • Stormwater management
  • Floodplain analysis and design
  • Stream restoration and stabilization
  • Dam safety and infrastructure stabilization
  • Coastal and riverine systems (preferred, not required)

A strong understanding of Mid‑Atlantic regulatory frameworks and modern design standards is highly valued.

What Makes You a Strong Fit

Licenses & Credentials

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state (preferred, not required)
  • CAD and/or GIS training or experience preferred
  • Coastal engineering or stream restoration experience a plus

Software Experience (Any of the Following Is a Bonus)

  • HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑FDA
  • SWMM, MIKE, Bentley tools
  • Cost estimating and construction management software
  • Standard business and documentation tools
