Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in the City of Cape Town for a Senior Web Application Developer. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain web applications, ensuring they align with technical and business requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing robust back-end solutions, writing clean and maintainable code, and troubleshooting software issues. Contribution to process improvements and mentorship of junior team members are also key aspects of this role.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Web Application Development and a strong understanding of designing and building scalable web applications.

• In-depth experience in Back-End Web Development and proficiency in creating and managing server-side logic effectively.

• Proficient in Software Development practices with a solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

• Strong problem-solving skills and experience working with modern development technologies and tools.

• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and cloud platforms is advantageous.
