Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Wing Structures Lead Stress Engineer (f/m) to join our MAP based in Toulouse, France.

You will be part of a team developing engineering support for FAL, Flight Test and Customer Line. As part of the WB (A350/A330/A380) MAP Wing structures team 1ALLW, you will be involved in providing engineering support for anything that could occur during the assembly process aiming at ensuring aircraft airworthiness and supporting program and industrial planning.

Your challenges

  • Analyze any NC impact on aircraft airworthiness requirements and provide stress justifications.
  • Ensure technical content for any documents dealing with aircraft conformity (Non-conformity notifications, Concessions, etc.) in accordance with FAL milestones.
  • Support overall airframe Quality improvement: NC root-cause investigation, corrective actions elaboration, feedback loop to Engineering and Manufacturing.
  • Identify areas of inefficiency/repetitive issues etc. and contribute to changes in processes and procedures.
  • Act as a communication focal point to ease coordination between different internal and external stakeholders (manufacturing, quality, design offices, etc.).

Your boarding pass

  • Experienced professional as a stress engineer (Static or F&DT).
  • Technical expertise in the analysis of metallic and/or composite structures using a broad range of standard hand and computer methods (e.g. ISAMI, FEM, etc.).
  • Experience in widebody programs.
  • Already granted DOA Stress delegations or ability to develop them in the near future.
  • Language: Negotiation level in English (verbal and written). French would be a strong plus.
