Position Purpose

As a Senior/Staff Engineer, you will engage in advanced engineering problem solving to support our nuclear plant operations. You will be responsible for critical technical decisions and will possess deep expertise in your discipline and applicable industry codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced engineering projects that support the operational needs of nuclear plants.
  • Engage in research and analysis to inform technical projects.
  • Provide expert technical input to ensure activities align with safety, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of engineering work, adhering to configuration management protocols and design standards.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues related to equipment and systems.
  • Manage engineering tasks effectively, providing strategic recommendations for performance improvements.
  • Supervise and coordinate engineering activities, including personnel management and budget accountability.
  • Support design modifications, testing, and resolution of operational challenges.
  • Ensure all engineering outputs comply with safety analyses, industry codes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management and support emergency response, coverage, and outage activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork capability in technical environments.
  • Meet access requirements and undergo necessary medical examinations as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Advanced degrees or coursework in relevant fields.
  • Experience in commercial power plants.
  • We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in Mechanical, Electrical/I&C, and Structural engineering.

The expected salary range for this position is between $151,200 and $168,000, depending on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonuses and a 401(k) program.
