Senior or Staff Software Engineer

The role

A team of eight engineers, no juniors, scaling from thousands to half a million verifications per month. You'd own features end-to-end - from database to UI - and work directly on the automation that removes humans from KYC processes.

That means:

• Building async, event-driven systems that handle document analysis and people screening at volume
• Working across the stack: Python, TypeScript, React, Postgres, AWS, Kubernetes
• Shipping things autonomously -> no handholding, no waiting for specs
• Leaning into AI dev tooling (they actually use it)

Who it's for

• Senior: Strong backend instincts, async systems experience, comfortable owning a feature from zero.
• Staff: You've scaled things before and can articulate why - someone who can teach and set the bar for a small team.

Why it's interesting

The equity is real. The team is senior. The problem - automating KYC at scale with AI - is genuinely hard and genuinely unsolved.
