Introduction
A globally recognised leader in advanced printing and equipment solutions is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join its technical support team. The organisation is known for delivering innovative, high-quality machinery and services to clients across the commercial and industrial sectors.
This role is responsible for hardware fault-finding, troubleshooting technical issues, performing repairs, and managing the installation and commissioning of equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide technical support by liaising with the Back Office and staying updated on product information and service requirements.
• Perform equipment installations, including site inspections, setup, commissioning, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer and company standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues independently and in collaboration with other engineers.
• Manage administrative tasks, including completing service reports, submitting timesheets, and attending training as required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
• At least 2 years’ solid experience in hardware, troubleshooting, and fault-finding.
• Experience with printing equipment is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with a good command of English.
• Basic knowledge of software and networking.
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle.
• Strong analytical and spatial reasoning skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues systematically.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused.
