We are excited to welcome a proactive and innovative problem solver to our dynamic Service Engineering team! As a Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in the global deployment, maintenance, and continual enhancement of our service test stations and automated test solutions. Collaborating closely with various teams—including Service, Manufacturing, Design Engineering, and Metrology—you will support production, service operations, and New Product Introduction (NPI), ensuring all testing processes are accurate, reliable, and compliant throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

Service Test Stations

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain service test stations globally, including PCs, test equipment, fixtures, and software.
  • Guarantee 24/7 operational readiness through proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and swift issue resolution.
  • Train service technicians and operators on test station usage, troubleshooting, and best practices.
  • Provide technical support for station, equipment, product, and operator-related concerns.
  • Manage spare parts, replacement equipment, and obsolescence planning in coordination with Service and Manufacturing.

Test Code Development & Maintenance

  • Develop, debug, validate, and maintain automated test code using LabVIEW and TestStand.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing and Design Engineering to implement test changes and issue Test Change Notices (TCNs).
  • Validate measurement accuracy, uncertainty, and repeatability in partnership with the Metrology team.
  • Support testing of new boards and products by developing and releasing new test sequences.
  • Ensure compliance with internal coding standards, documentation, and data reporting requirements.

New Product Introduction (NPI)

  • Support NPI by verifying test readiness, capacity planning, fixtures, equipment, and global station requirements.
  • Partner with Service, Manufacturing, and Design Engineering to develop and validate service test methods.
  • Create training materials, documentation, and tools to facilitate successful product launches.
  • Verify the accuracy of firmware, test code, and documentation before service release and sign‑off.
  • Collect and analyze test data and feedback to foster product and test improvements.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist in resolving customer‑reported issues through collaboration with Service and Manufacturing teams.
  • Verify and approve changes to test code and equipment before deployment in the service environment.
  • Participate in ISO/IEC 17025‑related audits and service readiness activities.
  • Provide ongoing technical guidance and support to service depots and engineering stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with automated test systems, LabVIEW, and TestStand.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic test equipment and communication protocols (GPIB, Ethernet, USB, RS‑232).
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and systems.
  • Excellent collaboration, documentation, and training abilities.

Compensation

  • This position is also eligible for bonuses as part of the total compensation package.
  • The salary range for this position is 66,900.00 - 124,300.00.

  • This role requires compliance with U.S. Government export control regulations; therefore, candidates must be U.S. Persons or be prepared to collaborate with the company to secure necessary government authorizations
