About the role
About
100% remote ServiceNow Architect focused on building/configuration various ServiceNow ITSM modules based on defined user stories. Part of a large scale implementation broken up across three scrum teams.
Purpose of Position
ServiceNow ITSM Developer will be responsible for configuring ServiceNow modules based on customer requirements and driving them into production environment.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Lead all technical aspects of project delivery and solution delivery including: - 40%
- Application Configuration
- Workflow Configuration
- UI Configuration
- Development of required client specific reporting
- Development of requirement integration components - 30%
- Interface with ServiceNow development and operations teams, to successfully set up the SaaS platform- 10%
- Be a key member of the overall implementation project team- 5%
- Prepare all client facing and internal deliverables that are technology related- 10%
- Mentor field resources in implementation methodology, configuration, and best practices for the ITSM application suite- 5 %
Essential Qualifications
- Related Work Experience: 4-6 years
- Proven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITSM solutions in client environments.
- Minimum 3 years of implementing ServiceNow ITSM modules as a technical resource
- Knowledge of ITIL, minimum foundation level, ideally higher.
- Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, JavaScript, Web Services, etc) and working in a SaaS environment.
- Knowledge of technical components such as LDAP, VPN, SSL, SAML/SSO and other such technologies.
- Active listener, respecting others' point of view and takes ownership of contributing the required input whilst demonstrating strong communication skills (written, interpersonal and presentational)
- Demonstrated ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons and risks) while providing thought leadership in solving business processes and/or technical problems during project delivery
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, ability to deal with cultural diversity.
- Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical consulting roles

Very important, potentially running workshops, etc.
