About the Role
As a ServiceNow CMDB Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in defining and governing CMDB architecture while seamlessly integrating ServiceNow with the enterprise infrastructure and monitoring ecosystems. Partnering closely with the ServiceNow Project Lead and enterprise architecture teams, you will align business and technical objectives to ensure that implementations are scalable and follow best practices in line with ServiceNow's Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
This role requires a blend of platform expertise and technical architecture, with a focus on:
- AWS services, such as CloudWatch, EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and VPC
- Observability platforms like Splunk and Dynatrace
- Identity management solutions including Okta
- Incident management tools such as PagerDuty
- Databases, particularly PostgreSQL
You will also leverage AI automation tools like NowAssist to optimize CMDB maintenance, reconciliation, and data quality.
What You Should Bring
- Strong knowledge of ITIL, ITSM, and IT architecture principles
- Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, Integration Hub, and/or NowAssist AI capabilities
- Proficiency in data modeling, including object relationships and data structures
- Experience with schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning in PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and implementing technical controls for data integrity
Bonus Points: If you have experience in ServiceNow CMDB implementation and administration, hold ServiceNow CMDB certification, or ServiceNow CSA certification, this will be advantageous but not mandatory.

- US Citizen
- Ability to work a hybrid schedule on-site in Washington, DC
- Applicants must have work authorization in the U.S. that does not require future sponsorship.
Compensation
For this position, the base pay range in states such as California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, and others is $78,600 to $160,200 USD.
