Purpose of Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven ServiceNow QA Engineer to play a key role in ensuring the quality, stability, and scalability of a complex ServiceNow environment.

This is not just UI testing, you’ll be deeply involved in validating end-to-end business processes, data integrity, and platform-wide impacts across multiple modules and integrations.

You’ll work closely with developers, administrators, and stakeholders to ensure that every release is robust, reliable, and aligned to business needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and maintain test cases and regression test suites
  • Validate end-to-end workflows across modules such as Incident, Change, and Service Requests
  • Perform data validation across records, business rules, and state transitions
  • Identify downstream impacts of changes across the platform
  • Support and enhance automated testing using ServiceNow ATF
  • Test integrations and APIs between ServiceNow and external systems
  • Work within structured release cycles (dev / test / production environments, update sets, CI/CD)
  • Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure quality across the full delivery lifecycle

Role Requirements

Skills & Attributes

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals (tables, workflows, ACLs, forms)
  • Proven experience testing end-to-end ServiceNow processes
  • Solid background in test design, execution, and regression testing
  • Experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF)
  • Understanding of integrations and API testing
  • Familiarity with release management and deployment processes

Certifications (Essential & Preferred)

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – essential
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) – highly advantageous
  • ServiceNow Implementation Specialist (e.g. ITSM, CSM) – beneficial
