Shared Services Accountant

Responsibilities

• Act as the team leader of team leaders, overseeing AR and AP functions
• Support the Financial Manager with day-to-day operations and administration
• Step into meetings and provide financial input where required
• Drive SOP creation, implementation, and continuous improvement
• Lead automation initiatives and API integrations to improve efficiency
• Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions
• Ensure accuracy through reconciliations and strong financial controls
• Train, mentor, and upskill team members across the shared services function
• Work closely with stakeholders across the business

Requirements

• BCom Degree (Accounting / Finance)
• 3+ years’ commercial experience
• Strong exposure to AR/AP, reconciliations, and shared services environments
• Experience with process improvements, automation, or system enhancements
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams
