About

Provide services and support as a SharePoint Solutions Architect (Business Analytics Support: HR Technology Ecosystem, and Enterprise‑Wide Decision‑Making Capabilities Enhancement) in the Government and Public Services Industry Sector focusing on Human Capital solutions for clients such as the National Science Foundation (NSF | OCHCO / OCIO). The role is generally located in Alexandria, VA (Hybrid) and across the Mid‑Atlantic Region, working hybrid on/off client site.

Deliver innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency through digital transformation and process automation; enhance data‑driven decision‑making using role‑based advanced analytics and business intelligence; support regulatory compliance and adherence to federal human capital management policies; facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce planning tools; optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes and SLAs.

SharePoint Online Customization/SharePoint Online Development: implement workflow automation, knowledge‑management solutions, and digital forms leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform suite (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder) and custom SharePoint Online solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver SharePoint Online customizations and solutions, including workflow automation, knowledge‑management tools, and digital forms.
  • Create and implement Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, AI Builder) that integrate with SharePoint Online.
  • Define target‑state architecture, design standards, and implementation patterns for SharePoint development; translate mission and user requirements into scalable, secure, compliant solutions.
  • Facilitate seamless integration of IT systems and workforce‑planning tools, supporting regulatory compliance and federal human‑capital management policies.
  • Optimize service delivery through performance‑based outcomes, SLAs, and data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Provide senior‑level technical leadership, independent judgment, and cross‑functional delivery or strategy guidance.
  • Produce architectural artifacts and documentation as required.

Desired Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field.
  • Experience: 8 + years of SharePoint architecture experience.
  • Sector Experience: Relevant Government and Public Services sector experience (functional and technical expertise ideal).
