Detour Studios is a fast-growing, dynamic agency specializing in short-form content and paid media. We're a tight-knit team of about ten people working with clients across a wide range of industries : e-commerce brands, gyms, restaurants, apps, and more. Our workspace in DDO is fun, open, and built for people who love what they do.

The Role

We're looking for a Short-Form Content Editor who brings skill, hustle, and a genuine passion for the craft. This is a full-time, in-person role. You'll work alongside a talented editing team in a high-energy environment where great work is recognized and rewarded.

Remote work may become available down the line , but first, we want you here, learning, contributing, and growing with us.

What You'll Be Doing

• Editing short-form video content for a variety of clients and platforms
• Working closely with our creative and strategy teams to deliver content that performs
• Staying on top of short-form trends and platform best practices
• Contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced production environment

What We're Looking For

• Proficiency in CapCut and/or Adobe Premiere Pro — this is non-negotiable
• A deep understanding of short-form content: pacing, hooks, retention, platform nuance
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant editing experience
• Minimum CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
• Fluent in both English and French
• A hard-working, driven mindset , this is the most important thing we're looking for
• The ability to thrive under pressure and deliver consistently in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of VFX is a strong asset
