About
Neoking Trading is looking for a self-driven Site Agent/Project Manager responsible for the overall construction of works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all activities on site, overseeing operations of the whole site on a day-to-day basis, and that the project completes on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Plan the project and ensure that site teams are able to deliver without delays.
- Maintaining an excellent standard of quality and building according to project specifications
- Manage site foremen & site personnel.
- Perform full pre-inspection to ensure that the site meet the legislated construction regulations.
- Timeous planning of subcontractor and material order requirements
- Analyse, interpret design drawings & details, and provide technical guidance.
- Procure adequate resources both labour and materials according to the project requirement.
- Preparation of resource and material schedules for procurement.
- Develop, implement, manage, and update effective programming of the works.
- Effectively manage and monitor construction productivity in accordance to the project timeline
- Operate within approved budgets and report on potential variations.
- Manage health & safety aspects of the project
- Professionally represent Neoking Trading at external stakeholders’ meetings i.e. client, principal agents, sub-contractors, local authorities etc.
- Weekly and monthly report writing according to the company's requirements.
Requirements
- BSc/Btech in Civil Engineering, or related construction qualification
- Registration with ECSA or SACPCMP
- Valid driver’s licence
- Clear health record
- Clear criminal record
- Construction experience in renovations and built environment.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in site supervision and construction management
Experience and Knowledge
- Proven managerial experience as a site agent or similar in working on residential construction sites
- Good verbal & written communication in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Independent proactive thinker and have ability to react to problems effectively and efficiently.
- Knowledgeable of construction technologies and practices
- Ability to interpret and analyse construction drawings and specifications.
- Analytical with attention to detail
- Good understanding of the Health and Safety Construction regulations
- Proficient in MS Office Suite & MS Projects
- Highly motivated, able to work independently and under pressure.

Compensation
- Monthly Salary: Market related*
