SITE AGENT / PROJECT MANAGER (LANDSCAPING AND EARTHWORKS)

ROLE OVERVIEW

The role involves planning, coordinating, and managing project execution while ensuring budgets, deadlines, and quality standards are met.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and manage landscape installation projects, meeting deadlines and budgets
• Negotiate and administer contracts (JBCC, GCC, NEC)
• Build and maintain professional relationships with architects, designers, contractors, suppliers, and clients
• Monitor quality and ensure customer satisfaction
• Identify upselling opportunities to achieve sales and profit targets
• Coordinate site supervisors, labour, suppliers, and service providers efficiently
• Conduct site inspections and resolve issues promptly
• Support recruitment, training, motivation, and performance management of staff
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security procedures
• Participate in industrial relations processes as required

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Project Management qualification (Civil Construction, Building, Property Development, or Agricultural industries)
• 3–5 years’ construction/project management experience
• Budgeting & contract administration experience
• Strong client relationship and communication skills
• Tech: Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Projects; Pastel or CCS Candy/Buildsmart advantageous
• Valid RSA Code B driver’s license, police clearance

REMUNERATION

• Salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
• Company vehicle provided (private mileage limited to home-to-office travel)
