An established heavy civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee sitework, earthwork, utilities, and infrastructure projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on planning, coordination, and delivering high‑quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of heavy civil projects, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and field oversight.
  • Lead project planning, cost control, and progress tracking to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Review drawings, specifications, and change orders; identify and mitigate risks.
  • Communicate regularly with owners, engineers, field teams, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Prepare and review project reports, RFIs, documentation, and closeout materials.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, sitework, or infrastructure construction.
  • Strong understanding of earthwork, utilities, roadwork, and site development.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and project scheduling tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and project phases simultaneously.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
