Site Engineer

Due to an expanding order book, we have opportunities for experienced Setting Out Engineers to support high profile projects in the Enugu/Anambra Region.

Responsibilities • Setting Out Activity • To participate in the keeping of records and logs as instructed/requested by site management • To manage, monitor and interpret the contract design documents supplied by the client/designer and by working with the site construction team and assist in the construction of the proposed development • Maintain a drawing register • Liaise with the local authority to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws • To take an interest in and assist in all aspects of the project including but not limited to Health, Safety and Environmental issues

Requirements • Experience in working on civil engineering projects in a similar role, specifically Highways and Bridges • HNC/HND/Degree in Civil Engineering desirable • Experienced Setting Out Engineer • Must be a team player but also able to work on own initiative • Knowledge of safety and environmental legislation
