Site Manager – Projects (Contract | On-Site – Kathu)

Role Overview

This role is positioned for a hands-on executor with full accountability for site delivery. The Site Manager will take control of daily operations, ensuring alignment to scope, schedule, quality, and safety requirements within a live operational environment.

Key Deliverables

• Drive daily project execution aligned to scope, schedule, and safety standards
• Maintain strict control over timelines, resources, and site coordination
• Oversee inspections, QA/QC processes, and compliance adherence
• Expedite materials, equipment, and critical path activities
• Interface directly with contractors, client representatives, and internal teams
• Proactively resolve site issues to eliminate delays and disruptions

Minimum Capability Requirements

• Proven experience in expediting and site-based project execution
• Strong project management discipline with consistent delivery against deadlines
• Working knowledge of inspection processes and QA/QC standards
• Solid logistics coordination and resource management capability
• Demonstrated leadership presence on-site with the ability to drive teams
• Clear and effective communication across all stakeholder levels
• Background in engineering, mining, or construction environments (essential)
• Relevant qualification in Engineering or Project Management (advantageous)

• Previous legal appointment as 2.9.2 or 2.6.1 (MHSA) – non-negotiable for site accountability
