Site Manager – Wind Turbine Projects (Freelance / Freiberuflich)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Offshore Site Manager to lead and coordinate offshore wind turbine projects from mobilisation through installation, commissioning, and handover.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of offshore site activities, ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, quality, and schedule delivery. Acting as the primary interface between marine contractors, installation teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will play a key role in the safe and successful execution of offshore operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager or Supervisor on wind turbine or large-scale construction projects
• Strong knowledge of onshore wind installation, civil works, electrical or mechanical scopes
• Solid understanding of HSE regulations and site safety management
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced site environment
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Willingness to travel and work on-site for extended periods
• Relevant technical background (engineering, construction, or similar)
• Certifications such as GWO, SMSTS, SCC, or equivalent are an advantage
