By joining us in La Ciotat, you will be part of a site ideally located on the Mediterranean coast, within an international environment bringing together our digital identity and security activities.

Project / Role / Mission Description

Within the Thales Cloud Center of Excellence, you will act as a Site Reliability Engineer / DevSecOps on highly secure sovereign cloud environments, deployed on AWS and GCP. You will work in a demanding context, subject to strong regulatory constraints (compliance, data residency), and contribute to ensuring the security, performance, and availability of critical cloud platforms. You will work on modern architectures based on Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines, integrating security principles "by design" and automation.

Your missions:

• Deploy, operate, and secure sovereign cloud environments in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters (scalability, performance, updates)
• Lead incident management, perform root cause analyses, and contribute to the continuous improvement of reliability
• Implement and maintain infrastructures via Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines (Git/GitLab)
• Automate processes and strengthen security through DevSecOps tools and practices (Vault, security policies, secrets management)
• Ensure supervision, observability, and performance optimization of cloud systems

Your profile

• Is your priority to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of critical cloud platforms?
• Do you have the ambition to work on sovereign cloud environments integrating strong cybersecurity and compliance challenges?
• Do you want to evolve in a demanding technical context, combining SRE, DevSecOps, and cloud innovation?
• Do you have a degree in computer science or equivalent and experience in:
  • DevSecOps / SRE practices and cloud environment management (AWS, GCP),
  • Kubernetes cluster administration and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform),
  • CI/CD pipelines and associated tools (Git, GitLab),
  • Cloud security (IAM, encryption, network security, vulnerability management).
• Are rigor, analytical skills, autonomy, ability to manage complex incidents, service orientation, and excellent communication recognized strengths?
