Site Reliability Engineer Intern

We are currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer Intern to join us in Boston, MA or Raleigh, NC.

As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and gain experience on the technical side, and you will be interacting with a broader team both locally and globally.

What you will do:

• Contribute code to increase the scalability and reliability of the service
• Contribute software tests and participate in peer review to increase the quality of our codebase
• Actively participate in knowledge sharing and collaboration
• Work within a small agile team to develop and improve SRE software, support your peers, plan and self-improve
• Network with other talented interns in an inclusive and diverse workplace where you can be yourself and thrive

What you will bring:

• Working knowledge of written and spoken English
• Passion, curiosity, and desire to create new things and examine how things work internally
• Willingness to learn new things and proactively working as a part of a wider team
• Knowledge of the Kubernetes, UNIX or Linux operating system & Container technologies (any distribution)
• Basic knowledge of, passion and willingness to use Python, Golang or similar programming language
• Basic understanding of public cloud technologies
